The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), was developed to assist families and individuals injured or killed due to adverse reactions following vaccination. While hiring an attorney is not required, it is recommended. This is a highly specialized and technical area of law that often requires the assistance of a well-trained attorney in both the injuries caused by the vaccines as well as the legal process required for compensation.
The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program is different.
The program was designed to be non-adversarial and non-litigious but in reality, that is not the case. It is generally a very complicated, adversarial legal process requiring the best of legal representation. Additionally, not every lawyer is able to represent you in a Vaccine Injury Compensation claim, as this program resides under the US court of Federal Claims. You need an attorney who knows how to litigate vaccine cases, knows expert witnesses, and knows how to stand up for you.
At Krueger and Hernandez SC, we have experience in the United States Court of Federal Claims and can help you, so you don’t have to do this alone. Additionally, legal costs associated with your claim are covered out of the program, so there is no financial risk to you. If you or a loved one are suffering from an injury following vaccination, and want to file a claim in the VICP you must do so within 36 months of the first sign or symptom of your claimed injury.
